I sold 2 puts in the most undervalued commodities in the world. If they get put to me at these prices, I will make a nice profit when they rebound or I may sell out of the money calls for more income.
Work when it's convenient for you by signing up MTURK.COM. The website, run by Amazon.com, pays a few cents to a few dollars for small tasks that fulfill a larger job.
My strategy on Mechanical Turk is to perform the tasks that take the shortest time to complete - like a quick survey, or rating a video. I have already received $1.67 from filling in bonus surveys sent to me via email!
A governor, or speed limiter, is a device used to measure and regulate the speed of a machine, such as an engine. I have taken that concept and applied it to finance. You put in place a governor that limits the speed at which you could potentially lose money.
Here is how I apply it:
Field Agent is an app (Android and iPhone) that lets you earn cash by visiting retailers and performing certain tasks. A common task is an item price check with a photo. Another task is an audit/scavenger hunt (you have to find a certain type of product and how many are in stock). Pay is usually $3 and you have 2 hours once you accept a task. The app uses your zip code rather than GPS to find work near you. There are some "helpful tips" videos online.
After 5 days, I found 2 jobs within 3 miles. Jobs go fast and notifications are not pushed automatically to your phone.
Bottom Line: If you shop at big box retailers and enjoy taking photos, this is a good income stream.
